Batelco Drag 965 Racing Team is delighted to announce a new agreement with Gulf Air, as the team’s official carrier. Batelco, as Bahrain’s leading digital communications solutions provider and Gulf Air as Bahrain’s National Carrier have enjoyed a longstanding and fruitful relationship with the two leading organisations having entered in a number of collaborations over many years.

Batelco Drag 965 Racing has established a strong presence as a world class endurance racing team and is currently ranked 7th out of over 700 teams from over 250 countries. Most recently, the team showed outstanding performance to win the 2016 Dubai Kartdrome Endurance Championship and earlier in the year, won both the 24 Hour Endurance karting race in Oman and the Bahrain 24 Hour Endurance held at the Bahrain International Karting Circuit, with all the events featuring local and international teams.

The team will continue to participate in a number of local and international events during 2016, with Gulf Air’s support, including the 24 Hour Endurance Championship at RKC (Racing Kart De Cormeilles), France taking place on May 7 and 8.

Batelco Senior Manager Corporate Affairs Osama Alsaad extended great appreciation to Gulf Air for their invaluable support in joining hands with Batelco as the official carrier for Batelco Drag 965 Racing.
