The numbers which you are about to read are real and yes these kinds of little monsters do exist in Brazil!
Brave has announced yet another massive Brazilian addition to its fighter roster, and if you thought Alex “Leko“ Da Silva’s record was impressive (18-0), wait till you see what the Brazilian star Júlio César “Morceguinho” Neves has brought to the table.
Born in 1994, the 22 year old Neves made his professional MMA debut at the age of 16 ( 2011) ending his first professional fight with an impressive flying knee KO in the first stanza. Since that date Neves went on to stay undefeated for 29 fights in a row. In 2013 alone, he managed to take part in 13 consecutive Mixed Martial Arts bouts , finishing 12 out of these before the bell.
Brave Combat Federation President, Mohammed Shahid announced this signing yesterday on his official Instagram account.
“It’s amazing the kind of talent we are scouting in Brazil. This country is a factory of warriors from all different types and sizes. To find a fighter as young as Neves with such a packed record is remarkable. This is the quality of talents we are looking for, these are the warriors who will get the chance to shine on our world class platform. “
Morceguinho, whose nick name means “Lil’ Bat” in Portuguese, is the younger brother of the long-time veteran Rafael “Morcego” Silva — or “The Bat”. He trains at Astra Fight Team in Balneário Camburiu, Brazil, alongside with other Brave featherweight prospect: the above mentioned Alex “Leko” da Silva.
