BRAVE | Filipino Stephen Loman flying his country’s flag

Stephen Loman

Brave Combat Federation, the middle eastern based Mixed Martial Arts promotion kicks off its premier event BRAVE “The Beginning” in less than four weeks and despite an injury to Crissantos Pitpitung, the Philippines still have a mouth-watering clash involving one of their finest fighters.

The show features a thrilling undercard bout between Filipino’s own Stephen Loman (6-2) and Irish prospect Frans Mlambo (2-1) of KHK MMA.

Loman, like Pitpitung, is a member of Team Lakay MMA in the Philippines and will be flying his country’s flag on September 23rd in Khalifa Sports City, Bahrain.

Loman utilizes his high-level grappling skills and Jiu Jitsu to pile pressure on his opponents and that’s exactly what he will be trying to achieve against KHK MMA’s hot prospect Mlambo.

His opponent, “The Black Mamba” has outstanding amateur pedigree having won the prestigious IMMAF World Championships in 2015, the pinnacle of amateur tournaments. Yet unlike Loman, he is still new in the professional MMA game.

He has fought three times since going professional and won two out of those three via first round TKO. At his best, Mlambo likes to throw pin-point combinations and utilize his boxing skills – as he did to devastating effect in his last bout against Luke Ord.

It will be a fierce contest between the battle-tested Loman and the prospect, Mlambo, who is looking to realize his potential.

Brave “The Beginning” will be headlined by Mohammad Fakhreddine’s highly anticipated match against undefeated Brazilian Thiago Vieira.

The entire card is packed with elite homegrown and international fighters, making this a seminal event for Bahrain to host and an opportunity for each and every fighter to make a statement to the world.

Tickets are now available at www.bravefights.com and Virgin Megastorestore.
