Y.K Almoayyed & sons, the sole distributor for Nissan in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has announced the launch of the new 2018 Nissan Pathfinder. The latest addition to the Nissan family has a new look and a sturdier performance both on and off road. The Pathfinder has enhanced its safety, technology and power and added many modern features to obtain a high level of everyday functionality making every drive comfortable and enjoyable.

The new engine has also improved the performance thanks to the revised 3.5-litre V6 engine that has increased the horsepower by 7% and Torque by 4% for an unrivaled performance in its segment.” added Robert.
Externally, The Pathfinder has been equipped by Nissan’s signature elements for aerodynamic optimization efforts including the new “V-Motion” grille to enhance the cooling performance and striking boomerang-shaped headlights with LED daytime running lights. Other new styling elements include a redesigned front bumper, fog lights, wing mirrors with integrated indicators and new 18-inch and 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheel designs. The rear tail light cluster and rear bumper have also been refreshed. The SV and SL grade comes with a Motion-Activated liftgate which takes one swipe of the foot under the tailgate to open it automatically and stop it at any desired point.
Nissan made sure to equip the Pathfinder with enhanced technology such as Intelligent Around View® Monitor (AVM) with Moving Object Detection (MOD) in the SL grade. In addition to Tri-Zone Automatic Climate Control, Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System and iPod® integration. The tri-zone Family Entertainment system includes front seats head restraint-mounted DVD display screens. The rear displays are now 8-inch QHD designs (versus the previous 7-inch WVGA) and include auto brightness control and USB and HDMI rear source inputs. The rear display can be easily controlled from the front with a more user-friendly display
New features have been added to the interior such as a standard 8.0-inch touch-screen monitor, situated in the middle of the instrument panel controls a wide variety of vehicle systems and settings including navigation and infotainment functions. In addition to voice recognition that has been enhanced with a new HD microphone.
Options such as Intelligent Emergency Breaking, Intelligent Cruise Control, Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Forward Collision Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) are available on the SV and SL grades.
