4th Student Felicitation Event organized by Sir Syed Educational and Cultural Society Bahrain

Sir Syed Educational and Cultural Society Bahrain on 20th of December 2018 honored students who performed exceedingly well in class X and XII  Board examinations in 2018 , at its 4th Student Felicitation Event organized at Elite Hotel and Resorts, Muharraq

Other than the Prize distribution ceremony, Highlight of the function was  a debate competition. The topic of the competition was “E Books versus Text Books. The young students came up with some very interesting points for and against the topic. The debate was moderated by Mohammad Usman.

Madiha Masood Khan and Mohammad Furqan were adjudged the best debater in the categories For and Against the topic.

Another highlight was a speech competition, in which Mohammed Umair Akbar and Manaal Siddiqui were adjudged the best speakers in the Junior and Senior categories respectively.

Both the events were appreciated by one and all. All the participants were given certificates and all the winners got prizes.

Earlier the function was addressed by The Chief Guest Dr Mona Suri, Academic Vice President Royal University Bahrain. Dr Suri while congratulating the students said that in this age of globalization, stressed on being tech savvy. Dr Suri also stressed that along with academic excellence the younger generation should also pay attention towards health as a healthy body is a prerequisite for a healthy mind. that ushers the progress of all humanity. The outstanding performance of these students is a matter of great pride for the society.

The Program was compered by two extremely talented youngsters Ms Kulthum Mubashshir and Mohammad Kamran. The MCs kept the audience engaged but were also able to keep the atmosphere entertaining by their wit and humor.

The program ended by some scintillating performances by kids as young as 4- 5 year old  and was followed by a sumptuous dinner. More than 120 guests including society members attended the events.
