Her Excellency Sheikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, received Mr. Varghese Kurian, Chairman and Managing Director of Al Namal Group, one of the leading commercial companies in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Her Excellency emphasized the influential role of the commercial group. Supporting the economic and cultural sector in the Kingdom.
During the meeting, ways of joint cooperation between the Bahrain Culture Authority and Al Namal group were reviewed. This is part of the investment in culture project.
Mr. Kurian expressed the readiness of Al Namal Group to support the sound and light project. The authority plans to launch in Riffa Castle, after the success of the project on the Bahrain Fort site.
Mr. Kurian praised the role played by the BACA in caring for the development of the cultural and artistic sector in the Kingdom. They also praised the efforts of Her Excellency in enhancing the volume of partnership with the private sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
