Shaikha Marwa Bint Rashid Al Khalifa – director of Al Rashid Group – along with Vikas Attri – Chief Operating Officer – presented a cheque of BD 20,000 to Mahdi Alnoaimi – founding member of The Bahrain Deaf Society.
This donation has been possible through the help and support of Al Rashid Group’s customers over the past 2 years: donation boxes are indeed placed at each cash counter within ARG’s 90 stores around the Kingdom.
Bahrain Deaf Society pledges to help, merge and integrate the deafs into the society and contribute to upgrade their education, cultural, sports, intellectual and artistic capabilities.
Through this donation the group seeks to help the society achieve a maximum number of services that facilitate and contribute to the living standards of a deaf person.
Mahdi Alnoaimi of The Bahrain Deaf Society expressed his deep appreciation to the directors and the management of Al Rashid Group as well as to their customers for their extended support towards the deaf society, which helps them in carrying out its humanitarian duties.
The group firmly believes that a business entity is responsible for the wellbeing of the community and society of the country it operates in. By playing an active role in making positive changes, the Group chooses to pay back to the society.
