Al Salam Bank-Bahrain, the pioneering Shari’a compliant bank in the Kingdom, announced the first Danat Al Salam Grand Prize winner of 2019, Hussain Abdulla Hussain, who won a luxury villa in Muharraq in the semi-annual draw. Mr. Mohammed Buhijji, Head of Retail Banking, congratulated Mr. Hussain and presented him with the keys to his new home.
Mr. Hussain, a Bahraini national school teacher, had planned to gradually increase his investment to US$100,000 with the aim of buying a land and getting married. He said: “Although I was trying hard to save for the future, I only had a small amount put away. I thought it would take years to reach my goal of buying a property.
Now thanks to investing in Danat Al Salam, I am thrilled to own my own house. I look forward to turning it into a home and finding a wife to share it with. I never expected to win this prize, it’s an incredible feeling and I’m very grateful to Al Salam Bank.”
