Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C (Alba), the Bahrain-based international aluminium smelter, kick-starts its preparations for the Holy Month of Ramadan with the recent Safety awareness sessions titled “Think Safety in Ramadan” which were held on 14 and 16 May 2018.
Alba’s Chief Executive Officer Tim Murray, presented the awareness sessions to a large group of employees in the Safety Hall. Alba’s CEO highlighted the risks associated with fasting especially with the approaching summer months and how to avoid them. A short video on Ramadan and Summer Safety was also displayed during the sessions.
On this occasion, Alba’s Chief Executive Officer, Tim Murray, said:
“Safety is and will always be a top priority for Alba. As we approach the hot summer months, we need to keep our laser-focus to maintain the Safety momentum as we truly believe that Safety and Alba’s productivity are mutually inclusive.”
As part of the Company’s preparations, Alba will be holding regular after-Iftar visits throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan.
