Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), soon to be the world’s largest single-site smelter, participated in one of the leading aluminium events – Harbor’s 11th Aluminium Summit, taking place from 05 to 07 June, 2018 in USA.
As a keynote speaker on ‘Strategic Market Topics’ panel, Alba’s Chief Executive Officer Tim Murray spoke about Alba’s mega Line 6 Expansion Project, its impact on the global aluminium industry as well as the Kingdom of Bahrain and its economy.
Murray also said:
“Harbor Aluminium Summit is one of the premier industry conferences. We look forward to the networking and sharing of market knowledge to better prepare Alba for the coming of Line 6 with its commissioning in January 2019 and which, upon completion, will make Alba the largest smelter in the world.”
Alba’s Director of Marketing, Boris Santosi, Manager Sales and Marketing – Americas, Patrick Hudson, Manager Financial Accounting and Controlling Ahmed Abdul Qader and Manager Investor Relations & Corporate Secretary Eline Hilal were also present at the Summit this year.
