Alba recognised for its support towards Bahrain Athletics Association
Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba)’s corporate social responsibility initiatives were given a boost when the Bahrain-based aluminium smelter was recognised for its support towards Bahrain Athletics Association (BAA) during a meeting held on 27 July, 2017 at Alba offices.
The Vice President of BAA, Staff Colonel Mohamed A. Latif Bin Jalal and General Secretary Bader Nasser Mohd met with Alba’s Chief Financial Officer Ali Al Baqali, Chief Marketing Officer Khalid A. Latif, Manager Legal Stephanus Grobler, Director Line 6 start-up Abdulla Habib and Director of Administration Waleed Tamimi.
Commenting on this occasion, Ali Al Baqali said:
“Alba has always been a key supporter and generous contributor to the sporting initiates and programmes in Bahrain.
We are pleased to endorse BAA in its activities which raise Bahrain’s status on international arenas and develop talented Bahrainis athletes.”
BAA’s Vice President Staff Colonel Bin Jalal presented Alba’s Chief Financial Officer Ali Al Baqali with a book titled: “Khalid Bin Hamad and Bahraini Athletics”, which summarises HH Sh. Khalid Bin Hamad’s endless support and significant contribution to the advancement of athletes in the Kingdom of Bahrain over the last four years.
