Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba) has completed the recovery of Reduction Line 5 pots which had been affected following the power outage incident in April 2017.
To mark this success and recognise Line 5 recovery team, Alba held a celebration on Monday July 17, 2017 at the Alba Oasis Hall in the presence of Alba’s Chairman of Board of Directors Shaikh Daij Bin Salman Bin Daij Al Khalifa, Chief Executive Officer Tim Murray and the Executive Management Team.
Commenting on this achievement, Shaikh Daij Bin Salman Bin Daij Al Khalifa said:
“I would like to thank all those who were involved in restoring Line 5 both safely and quickly. The speed of the recovery is a testament of the dedication of the Alba team.”
Adding further, Alba’s Chief Executive Officer, Tim Murray said:
“The recovery of Line 5 was one of the most painful experiences in the history of Alba. However, the resilience of the team allowed us to set a new industry benchmark on the speed of recovery. I would like to thank all the workers and contractors for their efforts to manage through this difficult situation safely.”
