Motorcity has unveiled the all-new Tiggo 8 at its showroom in Sanad. The latest addition to the Chery line-up is a 7-seater SUV that boasts a fashionable, spacious and technologically savvy design.
The Tiggo 8 pools advantages endowed by international platform T1X, expressing Chery’s latest auto-making philosophy while showcasing the company’s highest manufacturing capabilities so far. It has also received a five-star safety rating from the China New Car Assessment Program (C-NCAP).
The Tiggo 8 carries on the signature designs such as H.D.S water flow body line, tiger-crouching front and tiger-eye lamps. It also bears the distinct international character and touch of the lead designer Kevin Rice, former BMW designer.
Motorcity Chairman, Mr. Waleed Kanoo expressed his enthusiasm at the launch of the new SUV stating, “Chery vehicles have been very popular in the Bahrain market due to their outstanding safety ratings, futuristic design and general value for money. We are excited to launch this latest SUV which we know will delight our customers.”
Positioned as a family SUV, the new Tiggo has a super-long wheelbase of 2710mm, with a flexible layout of 5 + 2 seats. It has a unique second row of seats sliding back and forth, and a spacious 1,930L trunk. The trunk caters to the high demand for family-use vehicles in the Bahrain market.
The Tiggo 8 comes with luxurious interior decoration such as wood, piano board, chrome and leather seats. Other attractive features include the 2.0L turbo + 9-speed CVT 25 platinum power combination, remote start system, 10.25-inch HD touch screen, 3600 around view monitor, electric tailgate sensor, Bosch 9.3 ESP, and a 0.92m2 super-large panoramic sunroof.
