To provide a seamless service that saves your time and provide a simpler way to manage your government Service center bookings, then you will be happy to learn of the official launch of the National Appointment System and its associated mobile app, Mawaeed!
Mawaeed is provided by the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior, and serves as a national unified appointment booking app for services that requires in-person attendance at government service centers.
With Mawaeed App, in its first phase, enables citizens, residents and even visitors to book appointments with at 18 service centers in 9 government entities, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Urban Planning and Development Authority, the Ministry of Labour, the Ministry of Social Development, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf, the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, the Public Prosecution, and the Royal Humanitarian Foundation.
The App supports both Arabic and English languages, allows users to view the list of government entities locations and services offered at the centers, schedule and manage their  appointment bookings from anywhere at any time, add frequently used services or entities to a favorites list, and receive notifications for appointment confirmations and reminders. It also contains information on necessary documents and requirements and provides instant feedback for evaluation via SMS through the National Suggestions & Complaints System (Tawasul).
Its important to note that this app is an outcome of one of the winning ideas of the Government Innovation Competition (Fikra) in its second edition. Idea to create an one app to serve all government booknigs. The Second phase of the app will on board further government entities.
Mawaeed app can be downloaded from the eGovernment App Store, bahrain.bh/apps, and users need to register using their Bahrain ID numbers (for citizens and residents), passport numbers (for non-residents), or GCC ID (for GCC nationals), and select the government entity and service they require.
