As a part of the Kingdom of Bahrain upcoming National Day celebrations, AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation held an event for its Rayaat Scholarship Program at the Hotel Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa.
The event, attended by AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation Board of Trustees’ Chairperson Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al-Khalifa, aimed to promote the sense of belonging and patriotism among the students during the national celebration.
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our partners and sponsors for supporting this celebration,” said Shaikha Zain.
The event also included a talk by Khalifa Al Mannai, the winner of Bahrain Award for Entrepreneurship “Start-Up of the Year”, who discussed his success story and journey with the students.
The event included several activities promoting Bahrain’s heritage and culture including a food competition for the best traditional dish and a word game focusing on traditional Bahraini words. Students also staged a play about Bahrain.
The event was supported by Hotel Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa, Bahrain Cinema Company, RBH Medical Center, Gravity, Centimeter Gifts, Asghar Ali Perfumes and Nawader Textiles.
The “Rayaat Scholarship” program was launched in 2011 as a comprehensive approach to promote educational achievement and personal development through providing students with scholarship opportunities at accredited universities in the Kingdom.
