AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation Launches Activities of the Youth Enrichment Program

AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation (MKF) announced the launch of the activities of the second edition of the Youth Enrichment Program (ITHRA). This was held in cooperation with the Bahrain International Circuit under the theme of “Taking Initiative and Team Work”, where participants enjoyed several challenging activities including climbing with the aim to instill the spirit of team work among them.

The first week of the second edition of the Youth Enrichment Program featured numerous competitions that focused on the importance of teamwork in a fun and interactive environment. It also challenged the youth’s abilities on physical and mental.

Additionally, the participants were under the guidance of the program trainers, and they participated in several challenges to instill different values and qualities that make them more productive and determined to deal with different life experiences.

The launch of the second edition of the program follows the successful graduation of the first batch of participants in May 2017 which was held in cooperation with Isa Cultural Center, Royal Academy of Police, Lulu Hypermarket, Gulf Air Academy, Al Amal Special Education Institute, Durrat Al Bahrain, Bahrain National Museum, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, as well as a number of civil society organizations.

MKF is committed to supporting the youth by engaging them in a supportive, safe and stimulating environment that enables them to approach the various challenges and obstacles of life with a positive mindset. It aims to provide the youth an educational and practical experience in addition to exciting opportunities in order to acquire the skills needed for a better future.
