AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation Launches “AlRaya Award”

AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation announced the launch of the “AlRaya Award”, a unique initiative dedicated to the Foundation’s distinguished and committed students who showed utmost compliance its rules and regulations, which also aims to motivate students to achieve excellence.

This year’s prize will consist of a trip to Masdar City in Abu Dhabi, which has been selected as it is one of the most sustainable cities that adopts a smart and efficient urban approach and aims to create meaningful business opportunities. The winner will also attend a number of sessions and workshops at the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW), which is a global platform for accelerating the world’s sustainable development. The week brings together a unique fusion of policy makers, industry specialists, technology pioneers and the next generation of sustainability leaders. Through its initiatives and events, ADSW is a catalyst for sharing knowledge, implementing strategies and delivering solutions to drive human progress. The winner will also be able to enjoy Abu Dhabi’s main attractions. To be eligible for the award the participants should pass the selection process, and the winner of the award will be announced during the National Day celebrations organized by AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation.

Commenting on the initiative, Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, said: “AlRaya Award aims to motivate students towards attaining excellence, encouraging them to commit to the program, as well as enhancing their skills and helping them expand their horizons. This initiative will further incite other students to follow in the footsteps of their peers and will also demonstrate their commitment to the programs offered for the chance at winning the award.
