The Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigations and Forensic Science won third place in the category Best Operational Information Cooperation in the field of drug control from the General Secretariat of the Arab Interior Ministers’ Council for the second year in a row.
The General-Director attributed the achievement to the great efforts made by the Interior Ministry, represented by the Anti-Narcotic Administration, under the directives of the Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, and the follow-up of Public Security Chief Major-General Tariq Hassan Al Hassan.
The fruitful informational and operational cooperation on regional and international levels has led to addressing numerous drug issues and to strengthening efforts to achieve the strategic goals in the fight against narcotics.
