APM Terminals Bahrain, a subsidiary of one of the world leaders in port infrastructure, and operators of Khalifa Bin Salman Port (KBSP), has announced today the appointment of Arno Storm, as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Prior to joining APM Terminals, Bahrain, Mr. Storm held senior positions at APM Terminals, Rotterdam, which is part of the Maersk Group from 2012 to October 2015. He joined the armed forces in 1999 following his graduation in Leadership, Management and Logistics, from the Royal Netherlands Military Academy, he served until 2011. He progressed through the ranks from tactical and operational to political strategic levels leading several big projects. As of 2011 he held the position of Military Assistant.
Commenting on the appointment, Mark Hardiman, Managing Director of APM Terminals Bahrain said: “We welcome Mr. Storm who brings with him a wealth of experience to our Bahrain operation.
