Apple released some new developer betas for all three of its major operating systems. The new Watch OS 2 beta continues to refine and bug-fix the OS that will bring native apps, Wi-Fi access, and other improvements to the Apple Watch. The new OS is expected to arrive on Watches in the wild via an update this fall. Watch OS 2 is likely to bring new features to the Watch, and new autonomy from the iPhone, that could make the device more appealing to more people.

The new iOS 9 beta is the fourth so far, and it arrives just a couple of weeks after the last beta. The last beta introduced the new News app to the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Other features in the new OS include a rebuilt Notes app and split-screen dual-app multitasking features for the iPad.

The new OS X El Capitan developer beta delivers bug fixes and stability enhancements to developers. El Capitan, which was announced at Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference, will bring split-screen functionality and refined search to Apple laptops and desktop computers, among other things. Apple opened the beta versions of both its OS X El Capitan and iOS 9 operating systems for public preview earlier this month.
