Gulf Air Appoints Country Manager in Greece

Gulf Air, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s national carrier, has announced the appointment of Mr. Abdul Hussain Abdul Rahman Hussain, a seasoned aviation professional with over 20 years’ experience, as its Country Manager in Greece.

Over the course of his career to date Abdul Hussain has amassed an in-depth, working knowledge of the aviation and travel industry. He has previously represented Gulf Air in all of: the Republic of India and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and has held management roles both within Gulf Air and in other industry organisations including Hong Kong flag carrier, Cathay Pacific.

Commenting on the appointment, Mr. Ahmed Janahi, Gulf Air A/Chief Commercial Officer said: “I am delighted to welcome Abdul Hussain to his new role representing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s national carrier in Greece – an important European market for Bahrain’s national carrier. His industry knowledge and experience will further strengthen our presence in Athens, helping to raise awareness of all that Gulf Air has to offer the Greek market.”
