Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) Chief Executive Officer Mohamed Yousif AlBinfalah and Chief Development and Technical Officer Abdulla Janahi met with the Bahrain International Airport (BIA) Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team to commend them for their contributions to the airport’s continued success following a string of international awards.
Earlier this year, BAC was named Airport Operator of the Year (Medium-Sized Airports) at the Aviation Achievement Awards 2023. It was also presented with the Aviation Sustainability Award (Airports) and honored for Health & Safety Initiative of the Year (Business Aviation). The awards are among the most coveted accolades in the aviation industry. Moreover, BIA received the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Silver Award for 2022 and was recognized by the British Safety Council at the International Safety Awards 2021 for its commitment to protecting the health and wellbeing of its employees.
