Bahrain attends Prophet Muhammed Mosque inauguration in Chechen

Bahrain’s Ambassador to Russia Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Saati participated in the inauguration of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Mosque in the city of Shali in the Russian Chechen Republic, held under the patronage of Chechen President Ramzan Akhmad Kadyrov.

Al Saati conveyed to the President the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness the Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and extended their congratulations on this Islamic edifice in the North Caucasus.

The mosque, considered the largest mosque in Europe, accommodates 100,000 worshipers.

The ambassador commended the distinguished role played by the Chechen president in consolidating the values of Islamic tolerance and coexistence and enhancing cooperation between the Arab and Islamic worlds.
