Bahrain Cinema Company, market leaders in the entertainment industry in the Kingdom of Bahrain, recently signed an agreement with Al Rashid Group (ARG) to open a brand new Cineplex in Oasis Mall Juffair, Bahrain.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Ahmed Rashed, the Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Cinema Company and Mr. Vikas Attri, the Chief Operating Officer of Al Rashid Group (ARG), proprietors of Oasis Mall.
The new Cineplex will be approximately 3000 square meters and will have a total of 12 screens. It will feature a children’s cinema as well as the latest state of the art technology such as a Dolby Atmos system and 4DX theatres, thus further enhancing the cinematic ambience in providing a revolutionary experience which stimulates all five senses. The new 4DX theatres will include high-tech motion seats and special effects such as wind, fog, rain and scents in both 2D and 3D formats.
On this occasion, Mr. Ahmed Rashed, the Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Cinema Company (Cineco) said: “It is with great joy that we are yet again expanding to another popular area in Bahrain. With the upcoming Oasis Mall in Juffair, this has given Cineco an opportunity to cater to residents and movie lovers of that area and its surrounding locations. We are indeed thrilled to open our new Cineplex within the lively vicinity of Juffair as it is a very popular location for both locals and expatriates and it does not have any movie theatres.”

Cineco owns and operates a total of 49 cinema screens in the Kingdom of Bahrain and 47 screens in Qatar.
