The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) has successfully concluded Lego Shows which was held starting from June 5th 2019, at the Bahrain International Exhibitions and Convention Centre, attracting more than 23, 000 visitors over the Eid Holidays.
This year’s edition of the LEGO Shows, which was held for the third consecutive year, featured millions of LEGO bricks and a larger number of play areas and challenges than previous years, providing the ultimate family experience with additional zones such as Speech Champions, The Power-Puff Girls, UniKitty and Jurassic World.
“The Lego Shows this year achieved immense success over the Eid Holidays, attracting more than 23,000 visitors from the Kingdom and neighboring GCC countries. This comes in line with the BTEA’s continual aim to host unique events that offer fun-filled activities and a differentiated experience suitable for the entire family, in order to revitalize the Kingdom’s tourism sector and further drive the development of the national economy,” said Mr. Yousef Mohamed Al Khan, Director of Marketing and Tourism Promotion at the BTEA.
Hosting these events comes in line with the BTEA’s long term strategy to further develop the Kingdom’s tourism sector and strengthen its position on a regional and international level under the slogan of ‘Ours. Yours.’, which contributes towards the Kingdom’s economy and the 2030 Economic Vision.
