Bahrain Airport Services Company (BAS) has signed an agreement with Southern Airline, one of the world’s leading provider of air cargo and aviation logistics services. The agreement provides aircraft line maintenance services for about 12 weekly flights on Boeing 777s.
Mr. Salman Al Mahmeed, Chief Executive Officer, said: “BAS has been proud to provide aircraft line maintenance services for over 40 years, through a team of internationally qualified professionals. Adding that the signing of agreements of this type with international companies is a result of the confidence enjoyed by the company (BAS) in the region”.
Bahrain Airport Services Company (BAS) was established in 1977. It is the official operator of ground services at Bahrain International Airport since its establishment. BAS offers a number of commercial activities including: aircraft and passenger handling services, catering services, aircraft engineering services, the Bas Engineering Training Center (BAETC), as well as owning and managing airport lounges.
