Batelco recently celebrated its successful learning and development achievements for 2016 with an awards ceremony held at its Hamala Headquarters. During the event, Batelco’s talented employees were recognised for their great efforts along with external consultants who were recognised for their support to Batelco Learning and Development Department throughout 2016.

A large number of talented employees were honoured for their achievements in successfully completing a range of learning programmes. The honour roll included those who obtained professional qualifications and certifications in ITIL Foundation, Avaya, various Cisco programmes, CIM, ‘Injaz’ Programme Volunteers and CCIE to name but some. Additionally, appreciation gifts were presented to other employees in recognition of their efforts in supporting the daily operation of the Learning and Development Department throughout the year.

A number of Batelco’s senior management, including General Manager Human Resources and Corporate Services Ebru Pilav attended to present the awards to the successful employees, training partners and supporters.

Batelco Bahrain CEO Eng. Muna Alhashemi said that Batelco remains unwavering in its commitment to developing the Company’s talented employees, managers and executives.

“Accordingly we consider the development of our talented workforce as a key competitive advantaged which will facilitate our sustained market growth and will serve as the platform upon which we realise our vision of being the #1 employer of choice in Bahrain.”

“The annual awards event showcases our employees’ dedication and hard work and we are very proud of their combined efforts. Going forward we will continue to support and encourage our staff in all aspects of their career journey,” Eng. Al Hashemi added.

Mrs. Pilav congratulated the high achievers on their success and offered encouragement to all to continue with more learning programmes during the year ahead.
