In line with Bahrain Development Bank Group’s (BDB) objective to continuously develop its employee’s performance and efficiency, the bank held an interactive Health & Wellness Session at Wyndham Grand Hotel.
The session was carried out by KIMS Center’s specialists Dr. Hareesh Prabhakar, Head of Physiotherapy Department and Dr. Bhramara Madduri, Faculty – Art of Living – both from Bahrain Royal Hospital.
BDB’s Group CEO Mr. Sanjeev Paul stated, “The investment in human resources is one of the most important foundation of sustainable development. To achieve these aspirations, organizing programs that contribute to enhancing professional abilities in addition to physical and mental health performance is essential.
He added, “The Health & Wellness session provided the employees the techniques and steps they should implement in order to reduce the stress and the tension in their workplace.
Mr. Paul said he was very pleased with the employee’s interaction during the session and their determination to implement the instructions. “Following the instructors’ techniques will definitely help BDB’s employees adapt a healthier lifestyle both at work and at home.
During the session Dr. Prabhakar talked about the importance of posture at workplace.
Dr. Madduri highlighted the importance of meditation and relaxation.
