When two friends, Ms Deena Al – Ansari and Ms Souha Sawan got together with a brand new concept for Bahrain, it was beginning of a new revolution in the beauty care sector of the Kingdom. The first transportable spa namely “The Mobile Spa” was born on October 2008 from the vision and hard work of two enterprising women who had their prominent careers in the banking industry. The idea and concept – The two ladies started working on the idea of The Mobile Spa while working long hours in their banking careers and felt busy women deserved relaxing treatments in the comfort of their own homes. They created the model as they witnessed the changing lifestyle of women today. Women today have full time jobs, are busy caring for a family as well as attending to other responsibilities all the while still having to make the time to go to a spa or salon. The Mobile Spa was created to provide convenience and the much deserved pampering to today’s busy women.
The Mobile Spa Founders spent 2 years prior to the official launch in researching the industry’s best standards and guidelines and developing a unique brand that reflects their commitment to quality. This investment in research, development and testing have enabled the spa to offer products and services of the highest quality which go beyond the standards required by the local authorities and the guidelines and even recommendations of the international authorities and best practices in the Beauty Industry.
The Spa Services – The Mobile Spa offers services to adults, teens and children. A variety of services are offered ranging from massages, body scrubs, manicures, pedicures and so much more. The spa also offers services to groups in the form of Spa parties, referred to within The Mobile Spa as ‘Sparties’. Sparties are available for groups of adults as well as children and are popular in many events ranging from corporate events to kids’ birthday parties.

They are the first spa in Bahrain which started using autoclave for sterilization as used in the medical field by dentists and surgeons, but it is still relatively new in the spa industry due to its cost. In addition to using an autoclave the mobile spa uses disposables wherever sterilization is not possible.
