His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister officially inaugurated the Bahrain International Property Exhibition, BIPEX 2016 at 9:15 am yesterday (Thursday 3rd November) hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain at the Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Center during the period from 3rd November 2016 until 5th November 2016. The long-awaited real estate exhibition is in full swing is open to the general public and everyone is welcome to come and see all the latest developments, and exclusive offer in the real estate market.
The inauguration ceremony and event were attended by various ministers and government officials of Kingdom of Bahrain, members of the diplomatic service, business leaders in Bahrain and the gulf and large crowd of real estate professionals, developers and the Bahraini community
The opening ceremony began with His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Khaled bin Abdulla Al Khalifa inaugurating the exhibition followed by a tour of the exhibition. The ceremony also included two welcoming speeches by Mr. Masoud Ebrahim Al-Hermi, President of the Bahrain Society of Engineers and Mohammed Khalil Al Sayed, the Chairman of Bipex. Following the speeches, the exhibition held an honoring ceremony thanking and appreciating the main sponsors that have supported the exhibition and several have debuted their new developments on that day.
His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa expressed sincere gratitude to the vast number of sponsors, exhibitors, visitors and interested parties in making this exhibition so successful. He began by praising the Bahrain Society of Engineers, a non-profit organization that has worked tirelessly and remained fully committed to improving Bahrain’s future by providing such great opportunities. The Deputy Prime Minister, Shaikh Khalid Bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, went on to praise the sponsors and participants of the exhibition. He began by thanking the prime sponsor, Bin Faqeeh Real Estate Investment Company S.P.C, the privately owned real estate investment company. His Excellency also praised GFH Financial Group for collaborating with BIPEX as a strategic partner.
The Deputy Prime Minister added that he valued the efforts of all sponsors including diamond, platinum, gold as well as the numerous exhibitors who have joined together to help make BIPEX 2016 the largest yet.
The Bipex Forum, a day long seminar discussing real estate issues commenced at 11:30. Keynote Speakers and Panelists included executives from the Bahrain Economic Development Board, Colliers International, The Gulf Hotels Group, Diyar Al Muharraq and a several asset management and investment firms. The theme of the forum’s topics this year were focused on the “Opportunities and potential for Bahrain’s Tourism and Hospitality industry” and “Regional and Industry Trends in the Tourism and Hospitality industry and the potential impact upon Bahrain.”
Bipex 2016 continues until November 5th to offer a golden opportunity for investors, development companies, financial institutions, legal institutions and consumers preview projects, reach consumers and discuss and make decisions in an open environment. Bipex is one of its successful non-profit annual events which was first launched in 2004 and has now come to occupy a premier position in the real estate and property exhibition event calendar.
Mr. Mohammed Khalil Alsayed is the Chairman of this Organizing Committee for BIPEX. “Exactly one year ago, we concluded BIPEX 2015 on a strong note and we are happy to state that BIPEX is back bigger and better for this year’s show.
