Blind student honored for creating YouTube channel for students with special needs

A blind student who created a special YouTube channel to teach students with special needs about the use of smart applications has been honored by the education minister.

As he received Sayed Hussain Sayed Anwar, from Imam Al Ghazali Intermediate School and viewed his channel, Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi ordered to enroll him in the Ministry’s Gifted Students Care Center to take advantage of the special programs that will boost his capabilities.

Sayed Hussain used his outstanding talent to make educational films and design video clips that he played on his YouTube channel.

Some of the films were related to introducing people with special needs to smart applications.

The channel has proven popular and the number of subscribers has exceeded 5,000 so far.

The Ministry is proud of the success stories of its students with special needs in government schools who excelled academically and displayed outstanding creative talents, Al Nuaimi said.
