Bahrain Network (BNET), the national broadband service provider in the Kingdom of Bahrain, announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Huawei, the leading global provider of information and communications technology. Under the agreement, both organizations will identify current strategic objectives, outline governance rules, and set the terms for long-term collaboration.
The MoU aims to cement BNET’s position in the Kingdom’s ICT sector, enabling and accelerating further development and economic growth within the digital economy. Through this agreement, BNET will leverage Huawei’s technological expertise across many functions, which is key to achieving digital transformation and stimulating growth within the sector, in line with the Economic Vision 2030.
On the occasion, Mr. Ahmed Jaber Aldoseri, CEO of BNET, commented: “Our recent partnership with Huawei comes as part of our longstanding commitment to working alongside international corporations to further contribute to the Kingdom’s economic recovery plan.
