Mr. Mohammed Janahi, Senior Manager of Passenger Services at Bahrain Airport Services Company (BAS), said: the company has the ability to expand the ownership and management of airport lounges for business and first class in GCC and Middle east
He express that BAS currently owns and operates the Dilmun lounge at the Bahrain International Airport, during which it received Priority awards for 10 years, in many fields such as: the Best Business Service lounge, Best Customer Ratings and Best Catering Services.
The work at the Dilmun lounge is a reflection of BAS strategy of investing in and enhancing human resources, especially the Bahraini’s citizen.
The Dilmun lounge offers a unique experience to travelers through Bahrain International Airport. The lounge features the latest entertainment, and also offers buffet dining served by BAS Catering, private area for smokers, and special services for travelers with special needs.
Dilmun lounge is open 24 hours a day, and passengers from all levels can enjoy their services. Reservations must be made 3 hours before departure at a fee of BD 20. Children aged 12 or below receive a 50% discount. Payments can be made in cash, bank cards and credit cards. Dilmune Lounge also offers online booking at www.bas.com.bh.
Dilmun Prime Services is another service offered by Dilmun Lounge. Travelers can be transferred from the terminal to the plane in a limousine for a price of 11 BD. Booking must be made directly at the lounge if departing from Bahrain. The DPS service is available to all passengers whether they are using the lounge or not.
On the other hand, Janahi said that BAS launched at the beginning of the year 2017 service called (Dilmun Limousine), which allows passengers to book a limousine to drive them from the door of the house to the airport and vice versa, a service is available in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Eastern of Saudi Arabia, Bookings must be made 48 hours in advance at a starting price of BD 20.
