Dr. Zainab Aldwlabi, a renowned surgeon, highlighted the critical role of early screening and detection in preventing breast cancer deaths. She emphasized that early-stage breast cancer is highly curable, and regular screenings can significantly improve outcomes.
Motivational speaker Mrs. Madhu Sarda shared her inspiring journey, emphasizing the importance of mental and physical well-being in combating the disease. She encouraged attendees to draw strength from their challenges and celebrate their victories, no matter how small.
Dr. Krishna Kavita, a gynecologic oncologist from Al-Hilal Hospital, advised individuals with a family history of breast cancer to consult with healthcare professionals. She also stressed the significance of a healthy lifestyle in reducing risk factors.
The event also featured a poignant testimony from breast cancer survivor Mrs. Nida Socorro, who shared her personal journey and the strength she gained from overcoming the disease.
