Manama, Bahrain, Monday 08 November 2016: The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) has revealed it’s exciting new brand this morning at World Travel Market (WTM) in London, positioning Bahrain’s tourism identity and establishing a strong brand proposition.
Bahrain’s participation has seen an increase of 15% to the space of the pavilion adding it up to 246 sq meters allowing more Bahraini tourism establishments to participate.
His Excellency Mr. Zayed Bin Rashid Alzayani, The Minister of Industry, Commerce & Tourism, said: “We are very excited to be at WTM London and to launch our new brand amongst key industry personnel from around the world.”
His Excellency Shaikh Khaled Bin Humood Al-Khalifa, CEO of the BTEA, said “It is important for us to participate in WTM and promote Bahrain at such a prestigious event. With the launch of our new brand, we want to communicate this on a global platform, positioning Bahrain as a global tourism destination.”
WTM London 2016 is taking place on Monday 7 – Wednesday 9 November 2016 at ExCel London and is the leading global event for the travel industry. Each year WTM welcomes up to 5,000 exhibitors from 182 countries and regions. More than 50,000 senior travel industry professionals, government ministers and international press, visit ExCeL – London every November to network, negotiate and discover the latest industry opinion and trends at WTM London. The event, now in its 37th year, generates more than £2.5 billion of travel industry contracts.
