The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) celebrated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s 88th National Day by distributing gifts to all visitors coming to the Kingdom through the Bahrain International Airport and King Fahad Causeway between the 22nd and 24th of September 2018.
Additionally, the BTEA organized an ‘Ardha’ performance in Seef – Mall Seef District and the Avenues Mall.
“This occasion is considered of great importance to citizens of both countries. We would like to express our congratulations and good wishes to the wise leadership and the people of Saudi Arabia on the occasion of their 88th national day. We wish them continued success and growth under the wise leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the path ahead,” said the Chief Executive Officer of the BTEA, Shaikh Khaled bin Humood Al Khalifa.
“These celebrations reflect the strong bilateral relations and ties between both Kingdoms, the BTEA continues to strive to position the Kingdom of Bahrain as a leading tourist destination seeking to attract tourists from around the world, particularly from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, by hosting various family-friendly events throughout the year.” he added.
The celebration was held in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior, Customs Affairs, Bahrain Airport Company and other entities. It also comes in line with the Authority’s efforts to attract visitors to the Kingdom of Bahrain, further contributing to the national economy and the 2030 Economic Vision.
