More than 150 participants gathered at the NBB digital banking forum at the Four Seasons hotel to learn more about the Bank’s new business online banking platform and how to harness the power of the world-class features and solutions it provides as it goes live on 26 June 2018.
The event, which was held in cooperation with Community Partner RAWAD, welcomed Panellists, from the leading private and public sectors, as well as digital banking and Fintech experts, and NBB digital banking teams, among others. The forum consisted of live demonstrations of the platform as well as a number of panel discussions featuring digital banking and Fintech experts. Talks focused on helping businesses understand and effectively implement the vast number of tools and resources that online banking can provide. This includes features to better manage cash flows, payroll, money management and other critical accounting and finance related tasks that can be streamlined and simplified digitally.
Panellists included Mr. Salman Al Rasheed – Head of Digital Banking at NBB, Ms. Areije Al-Shakar – Senior Vice President at Bahrain Development Bank and Editor-in-Chief of ROWAD Magazine, Mr. Maissan Al Maskati – Board Member of Bahrain Fintech Bay, Dr. Abdulhasan Al-Dairi – Chairman of the Bahrain SMEs Society and Emma Al Mansoori – Founder and Managing Director Empower Business Solution & Consulting and Director of Training at the Bahrain Development SMEs Society, among others.
