September is Heart Awareness Month – an entire month dedicated to raising awareness about cardiovascular disease in South Africa, culminating with World Heart Day on 29 September. Celebrating this month in its true meaning and contributing to the society is Aster DM Healthcare, which recently opened its first multi-speciality centre in Bahrain. Aster is inviting residents of Bahrain to contribute towards raising funds for heart care and all you have to do is simply capture a heart you either create or spot and share it on Aster’s Facebook, Twitter or Instagram channels using the hashtag #sharehappyhearts. For every ‘heart’ picture you share, Aster Medical Centre will donate 500 fils on your behalf to the Royal Charity Organisation. The local community’s involvement in the charitable campaign will help Aster increase awareness about heart care, and help the Royal Charity Organisation’s efforts in providing healthcare to its members.
