Centrify Appoints StarLink As Middle East Distributor

Centrify, the leader in securing hybrid enterprises through the power of identity services, announced that it has appointed StarLink as its value-added distributor (VAD) for the Middle East. According to the terms of the agreement, StarLink will promote and distribute Centrify Identity Services through its extensive network of channel partners and solution providers across the Middle East.

“StarLink is a reputed security specialist VAD with an impressive track record and large network of customers and channel partners across the region. Having already worked with StarLink in Africa and seeing the value they brought to our business there, we felt they would be a perfect partner for Centrify in the Middle East as well,” said Kamel Heus, Regional Manager Middle East and Africa, Centrify.

“StarLink has an extensive portfolio of security solutions from global vendors, a solid channel network, and years of competency, expertise and market knowledge to grow our business, market share and reach across the regional markets. We are confident this partnership will help provide Centrify a momentum to accelerate our growth in the region and we look forward to working closely with StarLink’s team to offer our channel partners strong support to meet end-user vulnerabilities and reduce their pain points,” Mr. Heus added.

StarLink has earned the reputation of being the region’s trusted ‘True’ Value-Added-Distributor (VAD) across Middle East and Africa, Pakistan and Turkey with on-the-ground presence in 13 countries. With its innovate Security Framework, ‘trusted advisor’ approach and services delivery expertise, StarLink has helped over 2,200 enterprise and government customers secure critical enterprise assets with its best-of-breed and market-leading technologies, sold through its channel network of over 770 Partners.

Speaking on their partnership, Mahmoud Nimer, General Manager at StarLink said, “Top of the market, privileged identity management solutions from Centrify are becoming increasingly relevant in the region as medium and large enterprises begin to incorporate hybrid cloud infrastructures. With the Middle East countries being increasingly targeted by global threat actors, the fundamental challenges CSOs in the region face today, is securing identity credentials and implementing privileged access without reducing corporate productivity. We strongly believe that Centrify’s portfolio of Identity solutions and services can be effectively and efficiently incorporated by our specialized channel partners working in this area of demand.”

Compromised accounts are the leading cause of data breaches today. In this age of access, trying to build policy that keeps data secure, without stopping user productivity, requires a massive security rethink. Centrify’s risk-based access, based on user behavior, stops account-based attacks. Centrify simplifies secure access to the cloud, mobile and legacy apps like Office 365, Google Cloud, Dropbox, ServiceNow, and SAP. It automates single sign-on to get users productive on day one. It empowers mobile workers, supports BYOD initiatives and provides secure access to cloud, mobile and on-premises apps.

StarLink will spearhead sales, professional services and support for Centrify’s solutions through its channel partners across the Middle East. Through regular marketing and channel development activities, StarLink plans to strengthen and expand Centrify’s channel partner network, sales and market share in the region.
