CrediMax Launches its Digital Wallet “MaxWallet”

In line with its strategy to continue deliver convenient and best payment experience to its customers, CrediMax in collaboration with MasterCard announced the launch of its first & new Digital Wallet named – “MaxWallet”.

“We are excited to announce the launch of “MaxWallet” which will fundamentally but gradually have a positive impact on payments across the globe” said CrediMax Chief Executive, Mr. Yousif Ali Mirza.” More payments are shifting from cash to electronic due to greater connectivity, availability of multiple channels & devices are providing opportunities for digital convergence helping customers & merchants experience enhanced simplicity and security in payments. Frictionless experience across the payment channels, relevance of use, safety & security are allowing customers to shop anywhere and anytime nowadays.” he added.

CrediMax cardholders downloading the “MaxWallet” on their mobile devices will be able to make “QR” payments to selected participant merchants in Bahrain & internationally enabled merchant across many countries & many merchant category types.

“I am pleased to say that CrediMax’s “MaxWallet” is the first digital wallet enabled to accept and make payments for Credit Cards in Bahrain. We have recently engaged with and given training to a number of merchants in Bahrain to start and spread acceptance of QR mobile payments in Bahrain and have successfully conducted a number of transactions.” Mr. Mirza also added

“This will grow – meaning the merchants types and numbers as the QR payments and acceptance is a gradual and slow process which requires efforts to raise awareness amongst cardholders and merchants .The CrediMax “MaxWallet” launch is of extreme importance to us and will enable us lead in the introduction & expansion of mobile payments as we are well positioned to “lead and win in Digital”, concluded Mr. Mirza.
