‘Moordha’ means crown based pose and Moordhasana helps in toning of the mind and body as the blood flows to the head. It helps in developing balancing skills of the body and increases flexibility .

Organising the Pose:-

1. Stand straight with the feet about 3-4 feet apart.

2. Bend forward from the hips and place the hands in front of the feet so the body weight is evenly distributed and supported by the limbs.

3. Place the crown of the head on the floor between the hands. Raise the arms and hold one wrist behind the back.

4. Raise the heels and balance on the head and toes. This is the final position.

5. Maintain the final pose for as long as is comfortable and the body regains its equilibrium.
