Delegation from BTEA Participates in Riyadh Travel Fair

A delegation from the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) took part in the ‘Riyadh Travel Fair 2018’ held between the 10th until 13th April.

The delegation included representatives from the BTEA along with a number of companies from the travel and tourism industry, hotels, travel agents and industry representatives.

The participation comes in line with BTEA’s long term strategy to further develop the Kingdom’s tourism sector and strengthen its position on a regional and international level under the slogan of ‘Ours.Yours.’, which contributes towards the Kingdom’s economy and the 2030 Economic Vision.

“The Riyadh Travel Fair provides an opportunity to meet industry representatives and showcase the industry’s latest milestones. By taking part in this exhibition, we aim to promote the Kingdom of Bahrain and attract foreign investment. We have been working closely with BTEA’s representative office in Riyadh to further develop and enhance the Kingdom’s tourism offering and attract Saudi visitors to Bahrain,” said the Director of Tourism Marketing and Promotions at the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, Mr. Yousif Mohamed Al Khan.

More than 270 exhibitors representing 50 countries took part in the exhibition that offered an ideal business networking platform. The event also includes workshops and discussions on key industry achievements.

The ‘Riyadh Travel Fair’ is one of the largest travel and tourism exhibitions held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The exhibition brings together industry key players including travel agents, airlines, hospitality companies, tourist promotion authorities from KSA and the region, in addition to DTMs from the Middle East and the rest of the world.

The exhibition is considered as an ideal platform for investors and tourism professionals to promote different destinations and their unique tourism offerings.
