An official delegation from Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) took part in ‘Riyadh Travel Fair 2017’ held between 7th until 10th April 2017 at Al Faisaliah Tower Hotel.

The delegation was headed by BTEA’s Director of Tourism Marketing and Promotions, Mr. Yousef Mohamed Al Khan, along with members of BTEA’s representative office in Saudi Arabia.

The BTEA stand, covering an area of 84 sqm, bought together industry representatives all under one roof including hotels such as Ramada Hotel and Suites Amwaj Island, Ramada Hotel City Centre Bahrain, Gulf Hotel and Crowne Plaza Bahrain, travel representatives such as Al Gosaibi Travel and Atbahrain, a Destination Management Company along with Travel & Tourism News (TTN) Middle East.

“Our tourism awareness strategy focuses on taking part in regional and international travel and tourism related exhibitions. We are currently working closely with BTEA’s representative office in Riyadh to further develop and enhance the Kingdom’s tourism offering and attract Saudi visitors to Bahrain, as well as contribute to the national economy under the umbrella ‘Ours.Yours’. KSA is considered as a target market due to its close geographical proximity to the Kingdom of Bahrain,” said the Director of Tourism Marketing and Promotions at the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, Mr. Yousif Mohamed Al Khan.
