Diyar Al Muharraq, one of the leading urban developers in the Kingdom of Bahrain, welcomed a visiting delegation from International Development Ireland (IDI), on Sunday, the 10th of December 2017.
A number of Diyar Al Muharraq officials and employees welcomed the visiting delegation which comprised of prominent consultants from International Development Ireland.
IDI is an international implementation support company which has been active in the Kingdom of Bahrain for over 25 years. The Consultancy has been recently appointed to work closely with the Real Estate Regulatory Authority, a newly established government entity whose responsibility is to monitor, regulate, protect and promote the real estate developers and investors in the Kingdom. International Development Ireland has been selected to assist in establishing and operating the RERA by assuming a whole host of duties among which lie financial, strategic and PR & communications planning and operating, and training and enhancing the performance of RERA employees, with an aim of handing over all functions to the Authority in 3 years.
As such, with Diyar Al Muharraq being one of the most respected, renowned and innovative developers in the region, the purpose of the visit was for RERA and the Consultant to gain a better understanding of the real estate market and its issues from the developer’s perspective.
The visit commenced with a briefing session at the Diyar Al Muharraq headquarters at the Bahrain World Trade Centre, during which an informative presentation covering the different aspects of the latest projects of the master-planned development was delivered. The delegation was then escorted from the Diyar Al Muharraq Main Office to the development’s site, where they were taken on a wide-ranging tour through the Marassi Al Bahrain Sales Office, Diyar Homes, the Deerat Al Oyoun Show Villas and Dragon City, with stopovers at each destination.
