Diyar Al Muharraq Visits Abdulla Khalil Kanoo Oncology Ward for Children

Diyar Al Muharraq recently visited Abdulla Khalil Kanoo Oncology Ward for Children at Salmaniya Medical Complex to show their support to the children fighting childhood cancer. Stemming from their constant strives to give back to the community, members of the Company’s Social Committee spent valuable time with the children at the Ward and presented them with gifts to brighten up their day.

Speaking on the visit, Chief Executive Officer of Diyar Al Muharraq, Dr. Maher Al Shaer said: “It is our pleasure to spread happiness and bring a smile on the faces of these children. Despite their conditions, they interacted with us with such joy and happiness, which was truly inspiring. Our approach towards life becomes much more positive when we see these strong hearts accept life as it comes and live in the moment. I admire their outlook on life and wish them all a speedy recovery.”

”Life is not just about living but letting live as well and we are humbled by the opportunity afforded to us to embrace the virtues of generosity and selflessness and reflect that through this wonderful visit. We are extremely proud to be a part of such a wonderful initiative and wish all the people who are battling cancer better health” he added.

This initiative forms an essential part of the Company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) towards the society at large. Diyar Al Muharraq looks forward to participating in many more endeavors like these in the near future.
