Double Exposure

1182

Double Exposure is a common term in photography which means, combining two images with the same exposure and creating it into a single image. It is a remarkably creative technique in photography.

It is also known as multiple exposures – depending on the final number of images superimposed on one another. The technique does not necessarily require Photoshop; you can make these photos in-camera if your camera does have a multiple exposure mode.

Nowadays, most cameras come with a double exposure program. The Fuji x100s, Canon 5D MarkIII and Nikon D800 are few of the options that showcase this function. Or, if you are an Android or an iPhone user, you can install this feature by getting the “Dubble” app.

To maximize this technique, the most important tool needed is creativity.
