Dragon City Extends Helping Hand to Needy Families

As part of its CSR activities and unending support to charity projects and initiatives in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Dragon City, the largest whole-sale and retail Chinese trade centre in Bahrain, has announced its sponsorship of a noble project that is launched by a group of Bahraini youth and is aimed at refurbishing ramshackle houses of less fortunate families and improving their lives.

This comes as Dragon City recently confirmed its sponsorship of the “#Baitkum_Baitna” initiative, launched by Ayadi Relief, a Bahraini relief youth-led organisation that aims to provide relief to poverty stricken societies in the Middle East and the Horn of Africa, and help with their education and social needs. The organisation’s initiative, #Baitkum_Baitna, is dedicated to renovating less-fortunate families’ homes that are in a poor condition, and help them live happier lives by fixing and beautifying their houses.

Dragon City, Bahrain’s number one family destination, announced that it will furnish the houses included in Ayadi’s programme and are renovated by its members, contributing to the achievement of the noble goals pursued by the launch of the initiative.

On the occasion, Mr. Patrick Zheng Shou, General Manager of Chinamex, Dragon City’s operating company, commented: “We are grateful to this beautiful Kingdom, its leadership and people. Extending a caring hand to the less fortunate families here is part of expressing our gratitude to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The initiative launched by Ayadi Relief is a noble gesture that contributes to enhancing the lives of people and we are glad and proud to become sponsors of it.”
