In accordance with the directives issued by the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority to prolong the working hours of malls and tourist areas during school holidays in a number of GCC countries, Dragon City within Diyar Al Muharraq announced the extension of working hours of Dragon Mall, to be in effect from the 17th to the 19th of March 2016. During this period, Dragon Mall will be open to visitors from 10 am to 2 am. This decision coincides with the start of school holidays in neighboring Gulf states, thus supporting the national strategy for tourism in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Since its inauguration in December last year, Dragon Mall has succeeded in attracting large crowds of visitors, exceeding all expectations, as it continues to draw substantial numbers of customers from the Kingdom of Bahrain and its neighboring countries. According to experts in this domain, a promising project such as Dragon City will boost the status of the Kingdom of Bahrain as a prominent trade and financial center in the region and will play the role of a stimulant in opening gateways to commercial activities and investments in the region.
