DURRAT AL BAHRAIN TO SHOWCASE AT BIPEX 2017

Durrat Al Bahrain returns as the Diamond Sponsor at The Bahrain International Property Exhibition this year held on October 26th-28th under the His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Khaled bin Abdulla Al Khalifa at the Bahrain International Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Durrat Al Bahrain, the Kingdom’s largest planned luxury residential, commercial and tourist resort development located on the south coast of Bahrain is designed by Atkins, world renowned design, engineering and consultancy firm. Some of the prime projects under Durrat Al Bahrain are the The Islands, The Crescent and Durrat Marina.

Commenting on the exhibition, Eng. Mahmood Abdulrahman, CEO of Durrat Al Bahrain Said:

“We are honored to sponsor this exhibition, which attracts many investors in the real estate sector including individuals and companies from Bahrain and abroad, for the third year in a row. We are also happy for support this exhibition as it serves the real estate sector in the Kingdom and helps developing it by providing a link between developers and investors. This exhibition is a special opportunity for us to announce our new projects in Durrat Al Bahrain Resort, which comprise various luxury residential villas of various sizes in Murjan 5 Island which follows highest international standards in design and construction to meet the special requirements of modern investors. The design of the villas in Murjan 5 took into considerations all the previous feedback that we received from the residents of Durrat Al Bahrain. I would like to extend warmest thanks to the Bahrain Society of Engineers for organizing several activities, conferences, and exhibitions, since its foundations, which had a great effect on real estate sector in the Kingdom, particularly the engineering and technical aspects.”

The Islands are purely residential, designed to offer the international urban community with the serenity of island lifestyle with more than 1,000 lavish villas of varying sizes and styles adorn the islands. The Crescent has a wide range of shops, restaurants, apartments, offices, hotels and spa at its disposal. At the same time closely having amenities such as mosques, schools and other entertainment options to suit the cosmopolitan living.

Durrat Al Bahrain is currently preparing to launch the fourth phase of the project in the next few months, which will be developed on Murjan 5 with the construction of residential villas of different sizes ranging from 800 to 1,250 square meters. The villas are characterized by their elegant designs and high luxury to suit with the tastes and desires of everyone who owns it, where the land was exploited in the best way to suit the general atmosphere of the resort and raise the aspirations of the owner who will have a complete privacy and enjoy the beach and sea in front of the villas stretching for more than 1.5 km.

Speaking on Behalf of BIPEX 2017, Mr. Mohammed Khalil Alsayed, and BIPEX Chairman said “We are delighted to have Durrat Al Bahrain once again this year. Our efforts this year is to make the exhibition bigger and better than last year’s exhibition.”

BIPEX is an annual event that brings together major Bahraini real estate investors, development companies, financial institutions, legal institutions and consumers to showcase projects, reach and discuss and make decisions in an open environment. BIPEX is organized by Bahrain Society of Engineers (BSE), and continues to grow as a direct result of increased investment projects among public and private sectors of the economy, the organizers say.

In last year’s BIPEX event, the exhibition highlighted real estate assets worth $60 billion, a significant rise from $52 billion in its previous edition. The 2015 show attracted more than 7,000 unique visitors of whom 24% travelled from outside of Bahrain.
