Education Minister directs to take necessary measures to ensure online learning

Education Minister, Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi, held a meeting with a number of senior officials at the Ministry of Education, and discussed with them the implementation of the circular issued by the Civil Service Bureau regarding work from home for government employees.

They affirmed the commitment of all the Education Ministry’s sectors and departments to allowing 70% of their staff as a maximum to work from home.

The minister gave instructions to take the necessary measures to ensure the progress of the educational process in the right way via various online educational means, especially the educational portal, whose visits exceeded 37 million during the first term, virtual classes, whose number reached 3,104 for the ninth grade and secondary students, televised lessons on Bahrain TV, 800 of which have been broadcast, and the 14 YouTube educational channels targeting students from all grades, in addition to technical and vocational education and special education.
